African Americans in US have higher rates of coronavirus infections

As the COVID-19 is ravaging the US, another starling factor has surfaced revealing that vast majority of  African Americans have higher chances of contracting coronavirus infections. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has said that they are addressing the challenges to combat the novel virus. “It”s been disproportional,” Trump told a White House press briefing, adding he is very concerned about the terrible numbers of infected African Americans. On the other side, New York city reported biggest deaths in last 24 hours from  Monday to Tuesday with 5,489 casualties. City Governor Andrew Cuomo said, “Behind every one of those numbers is an individual, is a family, is a mother, is a father, is a sister, is a brother. So a lot of pain again today for many New Yorkers and they’re in our thoughts and prayers”. However, the good news was that the  daily incubations and ICU admissions have been reduced with state reaching the stage of plateau in number of hospitalizations.
