A lot of speculations have been in the making over actor Mohanlal’s political entry. The actor was conferred Padma Bhushan by the BJP government led by Narendra Modi. It was said to be a public offer by the BJP leaders in Kerala to give actor the Lok Sabha ticket to contest from Thiruvananthapuram. After days of speculations, Mohanlal has finally cleared the air on joining politics stating it’s not his cup of tea.
“Politics is not my cup of tea. I always want to remain an actor. I enjoy the freedom I have in this profession. In politics, a lot of people depend on you and it’s not easy. Also, it’s not a subject that I know a lot about and so, I have no inclination whatsoever,” he said.
