Naga Chaitanya backs Sobhita’s boldest role choices

Naga Chaitanya is eagerly anticipating the release of his upcoming movie Thandel, which he considers a pivotal moment in his career. This film holds extra significance for him as it comes shortly after his marriage to Sobhita Dhulipala in December 2024. In his promotional interviews for Thandel, Chaitanya has been sharing insights about his wife, Sobhita, highlighting her support and role in his life.

Naga Chaitanya revealed that many people mistakenly think Sobhita cannot speak Telugu. However, he clarified that she is fluent in the language and frequently helps him with speeches during public events. He spoke about her strong support system, especially when he feels uncertain and how her practical approach helps him stay grounded.

In addition to her personal support, Chaitanya expressed admiration for Sobhita’s performances, especially in Made in Heaven and Major. He praised her decision-making skills, mentioning that once she decides on something, he follows her lead without hesitation. He also spoke about how Sobhita respects their cultural traditions, even going so far as to personally design their wedding ceremony.

Interestingly, Naga Chaitanya also shared that one of his favorite roles of Sobhita’s is from Made in Heaven, an Amazon Prime Video series. The show, known for its bold themes, including intimate scenes and LGBTQ+ representation, has garnered both praise and controversy. Despite the sensitive content, Chaitanya’s open admiration for his wife’s bold career choices reflects his support for her both personally and professionally.
