The movie is scheduled for a re-release on August 29th, coincidin with Nagarjuna’s birthday, creating heightened anticipation for this special occasion.
When Manmadhudu was initially released theatrically, it achieved only moderate commercial success. In a previous interview, Nagarjuna himself acknowledged this fact. However, the movie’s trajectory changed when it became available on television screens.
Over time, the romantic-comedy entertainer gradually gained immense popularity among viewers. The film’s blend of humour, romance, and relatable moments resonated strongly with the audience, leading to its eventual cult following.
As the years went by, Manmadhudu secured a special place in the hearts of many, and its scenes even became a popular source of memes. The film, directed by Vijaya Bhaskar, featured Sonali Bendre and Anshu as the female leads.
