Actress Nanditha Swetha, who acted in a handful of interesting outings like Bluffmaster, Ekkadikipothavu Chinnavaada and Kalki to name a few, is headlining an actioner as a cop, titled IPC 376, whose first look and promos opened to good responses recently. The trailer has indicated elements of horror and thrills in store for the audiences. Helmed by Ramkumar Subbaraman, the Tamil-Telugu bilingual has gained good interest among distributors and buyers over the last few weeks.
Reportedly the makers, Power King Studio have been in touch with several names for satellite and digital rights and are happy with the response that the film’s promotional material has been able to generate. We’re looking to seal the deal with the buyers soon, Y S Prabhakar, the producer confirms.
This is not the first time that Nanditha is playing a cop; she’d donned the police officer avatar for an unreleased Tamil film titled Vanangamudi alongside Aravind Swamy. IPC 376 deals with the challenges while she investigates the truth behind a series of eerie incidents in a mansion. Currently undergoing post-production, the filmmakers are only considering to release it in theatres once the impact of the pandemic lessens.
