Natural Star Nani’s wish to become a pan-India star has remained unfulfilled. But he hiked his remuneration with his latest flick ‘Dasara’ doing tremendously well in some theatres.
The Keerthy Suresh starrer which was released on March 30, has gone on to collect more than Rs 100 crore at the box office.
Nani’s perspective of choosing scripts has changed in recent times. He has been maintaining that audiences would certainly welcome any experiments which exhibit freshness on the silver screen.
‘Dasara’ is being raved about for its storyline and conflict between the downtrodden class and the upper class. Nani is charging between Rs 20 to Rs 22 crore for a film as remuneration. Now with the success of ‘Dasara’, he has decided to hike his fee to Rs 25 crore.
Now, Nani is currently working for his upcoming untitled movie #Nani30 produced by new producer Mohan Cherukuri. The film has Mrunal Thakur in the female lead. He has another film in the pipeline with D.V.V Danayya for which Vivek Athreya is directing it.
