Andhra Pradesh assembly is witnessing heated debate over the rising onion prices where both ruling and Opposition party are pointing fingers at each other. Responding to YS Jagan’s ‘Heritage comments’, Nara Bhuvaneshwari shot back at AP CM stating “We have nothing to do with onion prices in Heritage supermarkets. Heritage now belongs to Future Group as they are managing the whole logistics.”
She further added, “Never in my life, I have seen onion prices going so up. Common man is seriously getting troubled due to rising prices. The union and state governments should strive to bring the onion prices down as early as possible.” Her comments came after Jagan said that Chandrababu who owns Heritgae was selling onions for Rs 200 per kilo.
