After the success of Baahubali franchise, streaming giant Netflix decided to make a prequel series for the film. Titled as Baahubali: Before the Beginning, the shoot of this web series went on the floors three years ago. However, the management of Netflix was unhappy with the output and shelved it. We now hear that they are planning to reshoot it with a new director. According to the sources, Netflix has decided to shoot the series from the start once again with a different cast and crew.
Young director Viswesh Krishnamoorthy, who directed the film 99 Songs, has come aboard to direct this project. Baahubali’s director SS Rajamouli will supervise the directorial works of this movie. Apparently, Viswesh has already prepared a final draft of the script and Netflix is happy with it. Even Rajamouli was impressed with the story and gave his nod. This high-scale project will go on the floors soon. Right now, the makers are busy in finalizing the cast and crew of it.
