Majili is all set for release within ten days. The unit has set at rest rumours that the film’s release would be postponed in view of the elections. It issued a statement saying that the film would be released as usual. The censor work is yet to be completed. Similarly, there is no publicity josh. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya have given an interview here or a F2F there and left for Venky’s daughter’s marriage.
Even after coming back, they are not likely to focus on promotions. In fact with elections ahead, the unit needs to give more push and publicity to make the people flock to the theatre. Only a positive talk can seen the film through. The publicity is very important.
But, one does not see that kind of buzz for Majili. Even the pre-release event has not been organised. Is it because the unit is very confident about the output or is it because it has no hopes about the film? Well! We do not know. Also, the trailer has not been released. There is hardly any buzz in the social media.
Teh Akkineni fans want the promotions to be done with greater vigour so that the film gets some positive pre-release buzz. Will Majili team do something about it?
