Power star Pawan Kalyan’s Agnathavasi and Balakrishna’s Jai Simha will have an epic clash at Sankranthi box office. While Agnathavasi will release on January 10, 2018, Jai Simha will release on January 12.
Pawan Kalyan movie will release two days before Balakrishna’s Jai Simha it could benefit for former. Both the movies are high budgets films above Rs 100 Cr. Still, Two months are there to release the movies but problems have started for Pawan Kalyan’s Agnathavasi.
According to sources, Advance theatres have been booked for Balakrishna’s Jai Simha while in areas where single theatres are only available for Pawan Kalyan’s Agnathavasi. Currently, it is said that a record number of theatres are available for Agnathavasi, but the problem comes when Jai Simha releases.
If this problem occurs, then Pawan Kalyan’s Agnathavasi would face huge losses. Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas have pinned hopes on this movie and some distributors wouldn’t be coming forward to promote the film that can only be sustained in theatres for just two days. Pawan Kalyan recent movies have all bombed at the box office that might be the reason distributors are stepping back. We heard that, Agnathavasi is highly inspired by Venkatesh’s old super hit film Ontari Poratam. Still, it is unclear an official announcement is awaited about the same.
