It is known facts that TDP and Janasena joined with each other to oppose the existing party YSRCP. However, cracks are becoming apparent in the alliance between the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Jana Sena Party as they navigate seat-sharing talks for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh elections. The discord emerged prominently when Pawan Kalyan, the chief of the Jana Sena Party, expressed his displeasure with TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu’s unilateral declaration of candidates for certain seats, including Mandapeta.

In response, Pawan Kalyan took a bold step by announcing his party’s intention to contest two seats – Razole and Rajanagaram – citing the auspiciousness of the letter “R” on Republic Day.

Expressing disappointment, Kalyan highlighted that, according to the principles of alliance, the TDP should have refrained from announcing candidates before finalizing seat-sharing, creating confusion within their coalition. Acknowledging the mistake made by TDP leadership, Pawan Kalyan reassured party members, urging them not to take the issue too seriously and expressing a commitment to resolving the conflicts within the alliance.

Despite tensions, Pawan Kalyan extended a benefit of doubt to Naidu, recognizing the veteran politician’s extensive experience and the pressures associated with leading a major political party.

Amidst the discord, Pawan Kalyan urged party members to focus on the broader goal of challenging the ruling Jagan government rather than getting entangled in alliance-related issues. He appealed for trust and requested five years’ time to address and resolve the underlying concerns, highlighting the importance of unity in their pursuit of bringing about political change.
