Cashing the craze and success of the movie Baahubali, Netflix came up with a proposal of doing the series as a web series and based on the book Anand Neelakantan’s ‘The Rise Of Sivagami’, the makers wanted to series revolves around Ramya Krishna’s character, who plays Sivagami.
Rajamouli did not show interest in the project but the directors Deva Katta and Praveen Sattaru have come forward to make the 8-episode Season 1 of “Sivagami”
And at the same time, Baahubali producers bankrolled it under Arka Media. Apparently, the output has now turned out to be a not satisfactory one and hence the platform has asked to shelve it. The producers invested huge amounts in it and hence wants Rajamouli to step in, and make necessary changes to it.
As of now, there is no clarity on the same and let us wait for the official confirmation.
