Ramya Krishnan having started her career since 1980s has continued to be choice of filmmakers even now. Considering that actresses shell life gets extinct, she has otherwise reversed the adage in her graph. With SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise, her role as powerful Sivagami proved her mettle further. The actress is not only a popular face down South but have acted in Bollywood films too like Criminal and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, but she didn’t went on to carve a niche for herself in Hindi.
Ask Ramya Krishnan over her absence from Hindi films, she said, “I didn’t take a break. Basically, my films didn’t do well and I didn’t take any interest in the offers (that were coming her way). Meanwhile, I was doing very well for myself in South Indian film(sic.)” On the work front, apart from her filmmaker husband Krishna Vamsi Rangamarthanda, she will be seen Puri Jagan’s Fighter starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday.
