Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj wedding month was locked. In fact, Rana’s father Suresh Babu confirmed that marriage is going to place August 8. Now, looks like there is a setback as there is a buzz on social media that the couple’s wedding is getting postponed. The reason is said to be the rising Coronavirus cases in the city. So Suresh Babu is reconsidering over having wedding in the month of August.
It may be recalled that Suresh Babu had earlier considered winter wedding for his son. But with lockdown relaxations, the made it advance. Now they are re-thinking the scenario with COVID cases surge in the city. It is also being said that both Rana and Miheeka are also having same thoughts as they don’t want to risk anyone’s life amid the pandemic. However, an official confirmation is awaited from the respective families.
Meanwhile, speaking about Rana’s first encounter with Miheeka. They knew each other well, thanks to Venkatesh’s daughter Ashrita. Yes, you read it right. Ashrita and Miheeka are classmates and that’s how the latter is known to Daggubati’s family too. In an interview, Rana had said, “She was Ashritha’s (Venkatesh Daggubati’s older daughter) classmate and I knew her for a long time. However, the decision to get married happened pre-lockdown. It’s the first time I thought I will get married. That means she did something to me, right? I went with the flow”.
Meanwhile, actor Nithiin was supposed to get married to his lady love Shalini in Dubai. With grim situation, he too had postponed his marriage. He is yet to announce his marriage date publicly.
