Saaho first Hyderabad press meet

Prabhas is coming back on the silver screen with Saaho, his first film post-magnum-opus Baahubali. The film stars Bollywood doe-eyed beauty Shraddha Kapoor, which her first debut film down South. Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho makers have kick-started the promotions in a grand way from Sunday. And today, August 11, the team held a press meet in Hyderabad. The lead pair, Prabhas and Shraddha answered to the galaxy of questions shot at them by the reporters.

In fact, Prabhas was also quizzed about his Hindi, to which the Baahubali star said that it wasn’t difficult for hi to speak as he is used to to it being in Hyderabad, adding he had slight difficult in picking up the slang spoken in UP.

Saaho trailer fastest to cross 1 lakh views

A day back Saaho makers released the trailer amidst much fanfare and the wait was worth. From extravaganza shots to cutting edge visuals and powerful dialogues, Saaho trailer met with the expectations with the hype it generated. In fact, the netizens are all gaga about the Saaho trailer with memes and hilarious posts doing the rounds.

The two-minute-long trailer has now set a record in Telugu Film Industry. Wondering what? Well, Saaho trailer has become the fastest trailer in TFI to get over 100K likes in 28 minutes. The second comes Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava at 67 minutes, followed by Baahubali in 75 minutes. Then comes Vinaya Vidheya Rama with 110 minutes with Maharshi at 110 minutes. Then comes AGV at 340 minutes.

Speaking about the kickass trailer, it talked about Rs 2000 crore worth robbery. And Prabhas is the undercover agent who will be preying on the thieves to nab them. But what happens when Prabhas has to deal with “dangerous city of powerful gangsters” which includes Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday and Arun Vijay. Then comes  Amrita Nair, essayed by Shraddha, and things change when she enters Prabahs’ life.

Madhie is behind the lens, while production design has Sabu Cyril, background score by Ghibran. Saaho has action directors Kenny Bates, Peng Zhang, Dhilip Shubbarayan, Stunt Shiva, Bob Brown and Ram-Laksman on board.
