Post Baahubali, Saaho is the first film Prabhas has signed up and the film has set unprecedented craze thanks to slick action and breathtaking shots which was never witnessed in Indian cinema so far. While the lead actors are leaving no stone unturned for Saaho promotions, here comes another interesting nugget of information. Do you know that Prabhas took a 20 per cent pay cut for Saaho remuneration?
Ask him why he did that as he has immense craze thanks to Baahubali franchise, PPrabhas said, “Baahubali has set the bar high, but Saaho was a Rs 250 crore film so I knew I couldn’t charge my usual remuneration. I started out with a 20 per cent cut. Then, the film went slightly over and though my friends were ready to pay up, I couldn’t take their money knowing they were putting in so much without thinking of what they would earn.”
Meanwhile, Saaho pre-release event will be held at Ramoji Film City on August 18. The grand event will kick start at 6pm and will certainly be a star student event. Saaho trailer was recently released and shattered all the record of TFI by becoming the fastest trailer to get over 100K likes. The film has four songs and the uniqueness is that all of them have different composers. The BGM is scored by Ghibran and Madhie s the DoP. The film is releasing on August 30.
