Sadineni Yamini to leave TDP

Sadineni Yamini, the firebrand of Telugu Desam Party, sending shockwaves in the Andhra Pradesh political spectrum, has quit the party. She has submitted her resignation letter to TDP president and former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday evening. “I will disclose my future plans in a couple of days,” Yamini said in a statement in the evening.

According to sources, it is learnt that like many other TDP leaders who jumped to BJP, Sadineni Yamini would also follow the suit by joining the BJP. A few month back she created storm by meeting BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana. This led to the talk that she might join the saffron party. Fuelling the speculations more, she has been away from the TDP activities for quite some time. She has also become inactive on social media, where she was the most popular spokespersons of the TDP in the past. She has not been attending any party meetings for quite some time.
