Samantha is the A-list actresses in the South. In fact, her popularuty, her charm adna cting prowess has also caught they eye of Bollywood. Recently, Sam was approached to reprise her role in the suspense thriller U Turn, to be remade in Hindi (which itself is a remake of Kannada film with the same name). However, Samantha ash turned down the offer for reason better known to her.
A source says, “For some strange reason, Samantha is not keen to extend her popularity into the Hindi belt.” Incidentally, this ins;t the first time Samantha has turned down Bollywood offers. In an interview, she had she set the record straight by saying she’s happy working in the South and has no plans of moving to the North. Now the buzz is that Taapsee Pannu is going to essay the role though the producers were very keen on getting Samantha to reprise the role in Hindi too.
