The humorous success of 2.0 is like the gateway to Bollywood for filmmaker Shankar to team up with Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan. Yes, you read it right. Shankar who is currently helming Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal may team up with Hrithik for a sci-fi film, on similar lines to 2.0

A source said, “Shankar has always been keen to work with Hrithik Roshan and has been trying since the last four years but somehow it has never worked out. It’s another sci-fi action thriller movie in 3D and with extra-ordinary VFX like 2.0 – almost like a superhero film”. Interestingly, Shankar wanted to have Hrithik in 2.0 for Akshay Kumar’s role. However, the actor couldn’t take up the project due to some reasons which later went to Akshay. Currently, Hrithik is shooting for Sper 30 and then will shoot for YRF starring Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor.
