Shobita Dhulipala is one actress who needs no introduction. She made heads turn with series like Made In Heaven and now The Night Manager. She also did some Telugu films like Major and Goodachari and won good fame.
This girl from Tenali has come up a hard way in life. She moved to Mumbai and was rejected so many times during the auditions. Speaking about her struggle in Bollywood, she says “I never got even one because they told me I was not pretty or appealing and I was like, ‘Yes, obviously’.”
Shobitha also says “three years back I was rejected by a brand and later did the brand endorsement with Aishraya Rai. I was with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, passing shampoos, doing the ad, and I’m just like nice. It’s nice to be here.”
But things finally change as she has some big projects in her kitty and is a star of her own on the OTT circuit. She is also getting paid big time for her roles and she is not complaining.
