Akkineni Akhil’s third film ‘Mr. Majnu’ is all set to have a solo release this republic day. The makers have kick-started the promotions already by releasing a teaser and the first song of the film. The second instalment of NTR’s biopic is expected to release on 25thof January. But it was postponed and is arriving on 9th February to maintain some gap between the two parts.
Ram Gopal Varma stated that his ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ will arrive this republic day but Varma can’t be believed till the last date. Though Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika’ is arriving on that day, it wouldn’t make much of a difference in the Telugu market. So, Akhil can have a solo release this year unlike last year where he had to clash with Nani’s ‘MCA’. ‘Mr. Majnu’ is very crucial from Akhil’s career point of view as his first two films ended up as flops. Hope the holiday season works in his favour this time.
