Bollywood has come in support for Salman Khan over the quantum of punishment awarded in the 1998 blackbuck case. After Mika Singh, Jaya Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha, the latest to join is Salman’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo co-star Sonam Kapoor. The actress shared the picture of her’s with Salma from the PRDP’s promo and wrote “You’re the best! Always by your side” extending support to the Dabbang Khan.

Salman was convicted on Thursday and was awarded five-year jail term. This has left deep anguish not only to his family but his close friends and colleagues including his fans. “I am disappointed for Salman Khan. I don’t know why he is being singled out. I think he is paying the price for being a star”, Sameer Soni said.
