Actress Sonam Kapoor’s sister Rhea Kapoor has got death threats on photo-sharing app, Instagram. The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress has shared the screenshots pointing the vile comments passed on her sister. Notably, the actress herself has been received too disparaging comments with the debate surrounding nepotism and the benefits star-kids get in the wake of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. She become the storm in the ye after her ‘karma’ tweet grabbed many eyeballs. Post that she has turned off the comments section on her social handles.
Meanwhile, Sonam has lashed at Instagram handle for not taking down the vile comments passed at her sister. She wrote, “I’m happy to block most unnecessarily hateful comments without giving it a thought but what pisses me off is a death threat isn’t against your ‘community guidelines,’ Instagram?” To this the app responded stating, “We found that this comment likely doesn’t go against our community guidelines. If you think we made a mistake, please report it again… If you don’t want to see this user on Instagram, you can unfollow, mute or block them to hide their posts and comments from your feed.”
Sonam further wrote, “Of course, I will block this individual but are you doing your part to keep this ‘community’ safe?”
