Actor Srikanth who worked in more than 100 films in his career has been struggling to get a right hit in his career off late. As the film industry is revolving around biopics, Srikanth reportedly gave his nod to play KCR on screen.
As per grapevine, director Shankar of ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ fame is working on the biopic of former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Srikanth has been finalised for the role. Though Nawazuddin Siddiqui was the considered, the makers reportedly zeroed on Srikanth and the actor is working on recreating the politician onscreen. The film touches up on different phases in the life of KCR like his childhood, entry into politics, Telangana agitation and others.
The makers are said to be making moves to release this film before elections and in plans to name this film as ‘Telangana Devudu’.
