Superstar Rajinikanth’s family had to hear a sad news as Thalaivar’s brother Sathyanarayanan’s wife Kalavathi Sathyaranayanan died on September 2 at late midnight. She was battling with serious ailment related with sugar and kidney, who breathed her last at the age of 72. The news has come as a shock to the family, and upon hearing the news Rajinikanth headed to Bangalore.

On the work front, Rajinikanth is working on 2.0 directed by Shankar. He also has a film with Subba Raju, the shoot which is underway in Dehradun.  2.0 teaser will be out on September 13 which happens to be Ganesh Chaturthi. “Rajinikanth asked me not to publish the teaser at this time when the Kerala people are in a dilemma. So, the Teaser launch ceremony was postponed,” said director Shankar. He then went on to add that, “2.O teaser will be released on September 13th, Vinayagar Chaturthi.”
