As per the latest trustable reports, actress Taapsee Pannu recently got married to her long-time beau, badminton player Mathias Boe, in a private ceremony held on March 23 in the picturesque city of Udaipur. The event was graced by close friends and family, with only a handful of Bollywood celebrities in attendance, including Anurag Kashyap, Kanika Dhillon, and Pavail Gulati.

The couple, known for their reserved nature, deliberately kept the affair intimate, shying away from media attention. Preceding the wedding, the festivities commenced on March 20, paving the way for a joyous union of hearts.

According to News18, the wedding happened in Udaipur, and it was a very private event. The celebrations before the wedding started on March 20. The couple made sure that they didn’t want any attention from the media on their special day. They both like to keep things private and quiet, and they were happy about how it turned out.

News18 also mentioned that the wedding was small, with only a few Bollywood stars attending. Taapsee wanted only her closest friends to be there. Pavail Gulati, who acted with Taapsee in movies like Dobaaraa and Thappad, was among the guests. Anurag Kashyap, who has worked closely with Taapsee on films like Manmarziyaan and Dobaara and produced Saand Ki Aankh, also went to Udaipur for the wedding.

The bond between Taapsee and Mathias traces back to their serendipitous encounter at the inaugural Indian Badminton League in 2013. Over the years, their relationship blossomed, transcending geographical boundaries and cultural differences. Despite their initial connection on social media, Taapsee and Mathias maintained a low profile, cherishing their privacy while nurturing their love.

Mathias Boe, hailing from Denmark, boasts a remarkable badminton career, adorned with accolades like a silver medal in the 2012 London Olympics and the 2013 World Championships. Collaborating with stalwarts in the sport, including Michael Jensen and Thomas Hovgaard, Mathias left an indelible mark on the badminton world, spanning over two decades of dedication and perseverance.

As the newlyweds embark on a new chapter of their lives, they plan to extend the celebration with a grand reception in Mumbai, inviting friends and colleagues from the film fraternity. Taapsee, known for her versatility and strong on-screen presence, is poised to grace the silver screen with her upcoming projects, while Mathias, having retired from professional badminton, looks forward to new endeavors beyond the court.
