Tamannaah reacts on trolling received for #AllLivesMatter post

Ravishing actress Tamannaah Bhatia is spending her time back home in Mumbai from the time lockdown got imposed. During an interview, she has opened about the flak and massive trolls for her post #AllLivesMatter. Netizens came down heavily on the actress and said that her post was counteractive to the movement #BlackLivesMatter which was done in the wake of death of George Floyd in US.

Reacting to the trolls, she has now spoken stating, “I put out an opinion that I strongly felt was relevant to what was happening around the world, not just in a particular place. I put it out artistically in a way I felt was appropriate. I feel like that opinion was taken into some other zone. But I made the point I wanted to make and I can’t clarify it to everyone who has an opinion on it”.

I don’t endorse fairness creams

Tamannaah has voiced out her stance on fairness saying that it is never the criteria for beauty. She continues saying that during her heydays she had modeled for Fair & Lovely ad, but emphasises that she was then 15-year-old kid who wasn’t endorsing the brand. She adds that the affection and love from her fans has coined the word but she doesn’t associate with the tag ‘milky beauty’. She underlines the fact that fairness is not the yard to gauge beauty and beauty has not thing to do with colour.
