In yet another shocking news to the Kollywood film fraternity, debutant director Balamithran passed away after suffering stroke. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Chennai. The deceased is survived by wife and two children. The news was shared by actress Sanjana Singh who is the female lead in his maiden film, Udukkai. Actress Sanjana wrote, “So devastated to hear the news my director for the movie #udakkai such a kind & loving person gone too soon. My heart aches condolences to his family @dir_balamithran @BarathiDance (sic).”
Balamithran’s maidne film, Udukkai was wrapped up. The film was supposed to hit this year, however with unprecedented pandemic was put on hold. The cast includes Vipin, Umar, Sanjana Singh, Ankitha, Valeena, Lakshmi, Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Mayilsamy and others.
