A video featuring Vijay Deverakodna and Rashmka Mandanna having a liplock is going viral. The clip from Geetha Govindam shows the couple travelling in a bus and it is the actress who dares to smooch Vijay first. The clip has been posted by one Dark @i_dark__ on the Twitter handle. The leaked “smooch” clip is creating flutter on social media and generating quite a buzz for the film.

Meanwhile, the smooch clip also seems to be inspired from Bollywood flick Shuddh Desi Romance, which has Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput. While the context in both the film might be different but the exact scene which happens in a bus seems to be inspired from the Bollywood film.
Geetha Govindam is slated for release on August 15. However, the film has already had its share of trouble, of late the movie was leaked online by one Padavala Rajesh, who works in Data Digital Bank in Hyderabad as an administrator. The firm is related to movies. It so happened that Rajesh copied few clips an gave to his friends who study at KL University. The police later arrested Rajesh and other students of circulating it.
“17 students in Guntur & Editor in Hyderabad got arrested for circulating raw footage FEW films under shooting, the editor arrested for data stealing & circulation more arrests gonna happen as Cyber crime police working hard in both states considering this as serious offence,” said Producer Srinivas.
“Whoever circulate piracy clips of films on their social media, all of their accounts will be traced, blocked & they ll be punished according law, this is SERIOUS notice pls don’t spoil your careers & don’t try to spoil film makers career & their efforts and money(sic),” he added.
