Telangana continues to reel under severe heatwave with temperatures recording between 40 to 45 degree Celsius. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday stated that Adilabad recorded to 45.3 degree Celsius. On the other side, few places at Nizamabad district witnessed 43.8 degrees, while Badrachalam witnessed to 42.6 degree Celsius. On the other side, Hyderabad also soared at 40.8 degrees on Tuesday.
“Heat wave conditions very likely to prevail in some parts in the districts of Adilabad, Komarambheem, Nirmal, Mancherial, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Peddapalle, Kamareddy, Rajanna Sircilla, and Karimnagar in north Telangana,” the IMD said.
“Thunder storm accompanied with gusty winds speeds reaching 40 to 50 kmph very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Medak, Siddipet, Vikarabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Wanaparthy, Jogulamba Gadwal, Mahbubnagar and Nagarkurnool,” it added.
