Another Telugu actor has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor has been identified as Harikrishna of daily serial Intinti Gruhalakshmi who tested positive. The incident comes close on the heels of another TV actor Prabhakar testing positive. The actor has been admitted at hospital, while a crew of 33 went into quarantine and are awaiting for their results.
This is the second incident that has happened in a week after the TV industry resume shooting. However, with cases on the rise and few reports of actor testing COVID has sent panic to the industry again making them t have second though once again before resuming the shoots. The nation went into lockdown mode since March 24 with shoots and another commercial activities and business coming to a standstill. Incidentally, its been couple of weeks that shoots resumed after the unlock 1 happened. Back home, Telugu actors also met chief minister K. ChadrasekharRao to permit for shoots, whihc was allowed with adhering to safety precautions but with Hyderabad becoming another COVID hotspot, now many are having second thoughts over resuming shoots.
