The Great Mother Who Gifted Superstars

To have scions traversing the same career path and carving a niche for themselves is a rarity. And one such family is Konidela – Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and Naga Babu. Today we talk about this family who rose to superstar status. The three brothers are born to parents Konidela Venkat Rao and Anjana Devi. And it’s dream of any parent to see their children in top-notch positions and certainly, the three Koniedla scions have made their parents’ wish come true. It’s a proud moment for mother Anjana Devi to see her children progressing well and have their own identity where a cut-throat competition exists.

An interesting aspect is that despite having all her sons in top-notch positions, mother Anjana Devi has never hogged for the limelight by coming up on podiums to speak out or rather take part in filmy celebrations. She has always chosen to stay away from the limelight.  We make low down of the career-graph of the three stars.

  1. Megastar Chiranjeevi

Since his debut film Pranam Khareedu in 1978 until now with Khaidi No. 150, his fan base and respect has only soared higher every day. He has earned the moniker of Megastar bestowed by his fans. They say there are four pillars in the industry, and the Megastar’s family one of the staunch pillar. Chiranjeevi has given some of the finest films which are remembered in the audience memories forever, like Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, Gang Leader, Hitler, Tagore, Indra, Shankar Dada Zindabad are some of among his greatest films.

2. Pawan Kalyan

Being Chiranjeevi’s brother has a lot of expectations from many and we can imagine the pressure it would have been on Pawan Kalyan for his debut film. Pawan made his debut with Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi in 1996 which was a disaster at the box-office. But the failure didn’t deter him and the turning point in his career is Tholi Prema. Then there were hits Thammudu, Badri and Kushi. This catapulted him to stardom and when every thought there isn’t any long back, Pawan Kalyan saw a deep steep in his career, a long way which took over a decade to return.

But the fandom and the care of fan following was never hit low despite Pawan’s career downfall. Probably, Pawan Kalyan is one such star where his fanbase is never measured by his film’s success. Like his elder brother Chiranjeevi, he is fondly called Powerstar. Pawan Kalyan is revered massively, and it won’t be wrong to say that, he has an edge over his Chiranjeevi in terms of popularity.

After his cine journey, Pawan Kalyan is all set for to contest in the coming assembly elections in 2019. He has launched his party Jana Sena Party and is campaigning vehemently and trying to under the problems of the public.

3. Naga Babu

It’s a notion for some that, Naga Babu couldn’t achieve the success like his elder brother Chiranjeevi and younger sibling Pawan. But Naga Babu has proved his critics wrong. He may not have huge film success streak but he has as tasted it through the small screen. One of the most watched shows on television is Jabardasth and there is denying that it makes him the king of the small screen. chiranjeevi pawan kalyan naga babu

Well, seeing all her sons doing well, it’s a proud moment for any mother. And we can understand how Anjana Devi’s heart must be brimming with happiness. The story is also quite an inspirational to young lads out there.
