This director never liked TDP

Actor-director Ravi Babu has come a long way in his cinematic journey. Being the son of popular actor Chalapathi Rao many thought it would be a cakewalk for Ravi Babu. But it was a no mean feat. From directing ads to becoming an actor and then a director he has had seen his own ups and downs.

Ravi Babu in an interview has opened up about his hate for the TDP party. Explaining the reason behind for his loathsome, he said,  “I don’t like that party at all. I told the same to the party leaders, when they approached me for making ad films for the party during 2014 general elections”. He further adds, “It was during Babu’s regime that roads were expanded in Hyderabad, leaving no room for the footpaths. I felt he was more like a rich man’s politician, not of the common people”.

I Hesitantly did ads for TDP

Ravi Babu further opened up about how he once declined to make ads for TDP. However,m he was pladed by the TDP leaders to do it as Chandrababu needs a makeover. “I agreed to do the job reluctantly and I had done my part,” said Ravi Babu, who designed the concept of “Job kaavalante, Babu raavali” (If you want a job, bring Babu to power),” he said.

On the work front, Ravi Babu’s directorial  ‘Aaviri’ is scheduled for release on November 1,
