Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja is currently busy in the shooting of his upcoming film Disco Raja which is being directed by VI Anand. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this project. The producers are planning to make another film with Ravi Teja which is going to be a remake of Tamil blockbuster, Theri.
This movie will be directed by Santosh Srinivas of Kandireega fame. Apparently, the makers are considering Kajal Aggarwal and Cathrine Tresa to play the female leads in it. Kajal will play the role of Ravi Teja’s wife while Catherine will be seen in the role of a school teacher.
Samantha and Amy Jackson played these roles in the original. This new project has been titled as Kanaka Durga. The shoot of this movie will commence within a couple of months. Earlier, this movie was touted to be done with Pawan Kalyan but was called off when the latter entered into politics.
