The ULLU App, the popular OTT platform known for its adult content, has released the trailer of their upcoming offering titled Innocent. Innocent is a dramatic tale of infidelity, blackmail, and loss of innocence. Set in a small town in India, Innocent captures the transformation of a simple-minded house help to a cunning, manipulative and cruel blackmailer.
The first instalment of the series will be releasing on September 11, Friday. The series stars Marina Kuwar and Mayur Verma in lead roles. Regardless of the criticism meted out to the content published in the platform, it seems that its viewership is only growing from strength to strength.
Will Ullu restrict itself to adult content or expand their range of subjects to cater to a wider audience? One hopes they do the latter and not transform the platform into a mini soft-porn hub. The pandemic may not be a bad time for a shift in priorities.
