Uppena is a film that was stuck with its release for quite some time. Even when so many producers decided to release their films on OTT, Sukumar decided to have a theatrical release. The film was released on the 12th of Feb as Valentine’s day special. It made big money at the box office and has now been released on the small screen as well. What’s special is that it has made a solid TRP of 18.7 which is huge. This shows what kind of a craze this film had with the audience. Uppena was directed by Buchi Babu Sana and had Vaishnav Tej and Kriti Shetty as the heroines.
