Vijay Sethupathi opens up on #MeToo

The #MeToo movement has bought out many big names from both Bollywood and South industries. Popular singer Chinmayi went on to name and help out women who been the victims by naming and shaming them the abusers on social media. Now, popular Kollywood actor Vijay Sethupathi about the #Me Too movement who said that the victims should get justice even if they were harassed 10 years back.

“Oppression and abuse are wrong no matter in whichever field they are committed. The survivours should get justice. If you were violated at an age when you couldn’t understand it, you should complain when you are old enough,” he said. Vijay said that akin to Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) in Molyywodd, even Tami industry should have one, adding he would try to make it eve he finds oppression.
