After the blockbuster Bigil, Thalapathy Vijay teamed up with Khaithi director Lokesh Kanagaraj, for his next film. Tentatively called Thalapthy 64, this film went on floors a few days back with a formal pooja ceremony. The makers have kickstarted the shoot in Delhi with a song sequence.
The shoot is happening at the very famous Shri Ram College of Commerce, under the choreography of Dinesh. The song seems to run in the backdrop of an alumni meet where Vijay dances with his old friends. The makers have planned a 20 days schedule in the national capital. The buzz is that hero Vijay told Lokesh to make the film according to his vision and promised that he will not insist on adding any sort of commercial elements in the movie.
Malavika Mohanan is the leading lady of this movie. Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and Andrea Jeremiah are also essaying key roles in the movie. Xavier Britto is bankrolling the project and is planning to release the film during Diwali next year. Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for it. Stay tuned for more updates on it.
