The newly-unveiled book titled ‘Visual Storyteller’ about the biography of famous cinematographers in the film industry will inspire budding film enthusiasts, said Director of Language and Culture department Mamidi Harikrishna. He along with filmmaker and author Indraganti Mohana Krishna launched the book during the closing ceremony of the Cinematica Expo held at HICC Novotel in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Mamidi Harikrishna pointed out that photography and cinematography are the great scientific inventions in the process of man’s evolution as a social being. He said the Telugu Cinema with Hyderabad as its centre has rose to global level with cinematographers playing a major part in its contribution. The book has been compiled with the blend of hardwork and creativity reflecting the popular work of greatest cinematographers of our times, he added. Indraganti Mohanakrishna said that the book will inspire Cinematography enthusiasts.
Many companies, including Sony Zeiss have put their equipment related to cinematography and filmmaking on display. Filmmakers like Meher Ramesh, cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar, S Gopal Reddy, Ajay Vincent, MV Raghu among other technicians attended the show.
The book ‘Visual Story Tellers’ has been conceptualised and executed by PG Vinda. Illustration art is done by Surender Chacha. Editing and compiling by M Kamal Naab. The publication was carried out by Languages and Culture Department Of Telangana with the support of Vinda Productions.

Cinematica Excellence Award is presented to BVR Sivakumar. Cinematica Golden Sparkle Award presented to Karthik Dandu, Hanshitha Reddy, Harshith Reddy, Bheems Ceciroleo, Acharya Venu, Jaswin Prabhu, Sri Nagendra Thangala, M Raju Reddy. Cinematica LifeTime Achievement Award is presented to S Gopal Reddy, Kamal Kishore Mohan Kidvani, K Basi Reddy
