VVR overseas buyers down in the dumps

Pepped up by the runaway hit Rangasthalam in the overseas market, which grossed an amazing 3.5 million dollars, the buyers vied with one another to grab the rights of Vinaya Vidheya Rama. Though Boyapati has a below-par track record in the overseas market, the buyer, a newcomer, shelled out a huge amount. He perhaps thought that the positive talk will ensure footfalls at the theatres. So, he did not even promote the film the way he should have.
VVR overseas flop

The film was a dud. The promo did not take into account the overseas audience. Later, the reports were very negative. Now, it’s almost certain that VVR’s overseas market might stop way to below the 3 lakh dollar mark. This means, the buyer will end up with literally nothing. He might end up losing up to Rs 6 crore. This means a huge loss for the buyer as overseas buyers usually don’t get any compensation.
