Known for her vocal criticism of political figures like Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh during YSRCP’s rule from 2019 to 2024, Roja’s unexpected silence has raised eyebrows.
Rumors suggest that internal conflicts within the YSRCP, rather than opposition efforts from the TDP, may have played a significant role in her defeat. Adding to her challenges, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is reportedly preparing to investigate allegations of corruption during her tenure as a minister in the YSRCP government. This development has further fueled speculation about her political future.
In a surprising move, Roja’s social media activity has also undergone noticeable changes. She has removed YSRCP-related content, including photos with party president YS Jagan, and has unfollowed him on her X account (formerly Twitter). These actions suggest that Roja may be distancing herself from the party.
There are growing speculations that Roja might be considering a shift to Tamil Nadu politics. Sources indicate that she is exploring potential constituencies around Chennai. However, it remains unclear which party she might join, with options such as Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, DMK, AIADMK, and BJP being discussed.
