The re-release trend is catching up. All the films of big stars are being re-released in theatres and fans have been feasting on blockbuster flicks reminiscing the good-old moments associated with the movies.
And most importantly, producers are pocketing good money by re-releasing the movies once again. Ram Charan’s ‘Orange’ was re-released in theatres and earned a profit of Rs 3.5 crore.
Don’t you think Sukumar’s masterpieces too will make good noise in theatres? The director’s wife Tabitha Sukumar feels the same. She wants ‘Jagadam’ and ‘1:Nenokkadine’ to be re-released in theatres.
Sukumar has had a better share of hits than flops in his entire directorial career. Although ‘Jagadam’ and ‘1:Nenokkadine’ were financial disasters at the box office, they earned cult status among fans.
Sukumar’s wife Tabitha is curious how these films will be received by audiences if they are re-released in theatres once again.
