And it was a rare sight for film aficionados to catch renowned Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg sharing his viewpoints with SS Rajamouli. It was a promotional interview with Rajamouli and there was an exchange of various interesting titbits between both of them.
‘RRR’ director happened to ask Spielberg how regional filmmakers like himself can improve their chances of winning an Oscar at the international level. Spielberg replied, “Tell your own stories. Cater to your audiences, and keep telling your own stories in the most diverse ways possible. That will take you to places. I believe that originality is the most important thing.”
In order to excite the crew on the film sets, filmmakers should act as if he knows everything in the world. A dull face of a director would dampen the whole vibe on the sets which leads to mistakes.
