Music director Anirudh is, without doubt, one of the most popular composer-cum-crooner in Tamil industry. His name sells like hot cake. But, his Telugu foray has been disastrous. He debuted with Pawan-Trivikram’s Agnyaathavaasi. Both Pawan and Trivikram went gaga over Anirudh’s work and his tunes were chart-busters.
In fact, Pawan termed his music as the best he has heard after Micheal Jackson. But when the film bombed, everyone was quick to blame Anirudh’s music. In fact, Trivikram had removed him from Aravinda Sametha crew.
Since then Anirudh has been yearning to show what he is to the Telugu film industry. He wanted to take revenge at this rejection. Now, he is working for Jersey, starring Nani. We are told music is very important for this youthful film. Will Anirudh make it big this time? Will he be able to show what he is to the Telugu industry that rejected him? Will he make big-time heroes and banners queue up in front of his home with offers? Will he be listed as a musical maestro after Ilayaraja and AR Rahman? Well! Let’s hope he will.
