Gorgeous actress Yami Gautam is being picky about her roles and is giving nod for those which has a substantial role for her. The Kaabil actress has zeroed in Aditya Dhar’s Uri and when asked what made her go for this role, she says, “I am really thrilled to be part of this film. This is the first time I am playing a role like this. I’ve been looking to do roles like this that represent the strength and courage of today’s girls.”
The film is based on the September 2016 attack happened in Uri on Indian Army which hot headlines nationwide. Apart from this, she has one more film – Batti Gul Meter Chaalu.
