Director Vikram was reportedly supposed to come up with a web series for Amazon Prime and Anushka Shetty was approached for the same. It had popular casting like Naga Chaitanya and others and she was supposed to play the lead. Now we hear she rejected the multilingual web series. Her thriller Nishabdam backed by Kona Venkat and helmed by southern director Hemant Madhukar was to be released when the pandemic struck the country. Nishabdam also features actor R. Madhavan in a key role as a celebrity musician.
The first look poster of the actor was unveiled by the makers of the film some time back and it has been widely publicised that the actress will be playing the role of a mute artist named Sakshi. The southern drama will also feature Shalini Pandey as Sonali. It was meant for a release in the month of April and now this further delay has upset the actress. The teaser of the film has already generated a lot of interest and intrigue among the fans and film audiences.
