Mahanayakudu would surely end up as the worst failure in Balayya Babu’s career. The collections have slumped and the buyers are now struggling to pay even the theatre rent. But, what’s more worrisome than the failure is the prospect of RGV’s Lakshmi’s NTR doing well.
Already, there is lot of craze for RGV’s film as people want to know the other side of NTR’s life. Even the anti-Nandamuri batch is fully backing it.
There’s a hope that Lakshmi’s NTR will have very good opening. Kathanayakudu, the part 1 of the NTR bipic got up to Rs 20 crore, but the part ii, Mahanayakudu, may not even get Rs 3 crore share. If RGV’s film gets more than this amount, it will be declared a hit. If this happens then RGV would be back to his verbal tirade once again.
