It is raining release dates in Tollywood since yesterday. There is somehow a mad rush of producers announcing their release dates and this has caused a sudden activity in the Telugu film industry which is bustling once again. 
The teaser of Acharya is out and has drawn a lot of attention. Today, the makers also announced the release date of the film as May 13th as a summer special. But on the very day on the 14th, Venky’s Narappa will also hit the screens in a big way. This is a straightforward competition between these two films. In the past, not once did Venky and Chiru come so close to their releases. This has made things tense and only time will tell as to who will be there in the race and who will opt out of it.
