Aditi Rao played the heroine of this film but not many know that that director Ajay Bhupathi had approached Samantha to play the role but she rejected it right away. Left with no choice, Ajay roped Aditi Rao.
Now, the film has been released and flopped in a big way. The film fell like a pack of cards at the box office and the makers lost big money. Apart from Sam, many other stars also rejected Maha Samudram.
