Boman Irani who is very popular among audience by his comedy and villain roles in Hindi cinema such as Munna Bhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munnabhai,3 idiots,Don and Aamir Khan starer PK launches his own production house named “IRANI MOVIETONE”.
Big B Amitabh Bachchan and Alexander Dinelaris Jr who is a screenwriter and winner of Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the 2014 film Birdman at the 87th Academy Awards in 2015 were part of the opening ceremony. Ronnie Screwvala founder of Media and Entertainment company RSVP ,Farhan Akhtar and Dia Mirza were also attended the event where they limited to crowd pulling. In the event Boman Irani shared interesting points from being a fan of Amitabh Bachchan to behind the naming the company “IRANI MOVIETONE”.
In launch event he mentioned that his Production House will give highest priority to writers and screen play writers and also invited students from film schools like “Whistling woods International Institute for Films and Film and Television Institute of India(FTII)” along with current working professionals from the industry.

On being asked about the upcoming projects from “IRANI MOVIETONE”, he said he was busy with writing part but if any good scripts come from outside they are ready to back the project with no doubt.
